Alyssa Mandel, LCSW

I am the founder and Director of The Mandel Center of Arizona and have created an environment to promote psychotherapeutic healing to people in need. My philosophy centers on empowering clients through the therapeutic relationship. I feel that by working with patients from a non-judgmental perspective, fostering a comfortable and trusting environment and "being where the client is", the time spent in treatment is made more productive for all involved.

My philosophy is based on a "strengths-based" perspective. I have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds with numerous presenting problems. I am honest and "real" and make true connections with clients which assists in promoting their strengths while helping them recognize and manage their challanges.

Much of my practice centers around Eating Disorders and I run a weekly Eating Disorders support group. However, I also specialize in Couples Counseling, Depression, Anxiety and Family Therapy.
